Extraction
Extraction is the method to obtain materials for your crafting via breaking down equipment you no longer need. Not everything can be extracted – items must be marked with the text – Extractable for you to break them down.
You can extract materials from an existing Weapon or Armor. The item is destroyed in the process. The quantity and type of raw materials earned are commensurate with the level of the object was destroyed. The higher the level of the item, the higher level your Extraction skill will need to be in order to break it. This process is similar to the item crystallization process from Lineage2.
To extract an item, press J and this will open your crafting menu, along the top you'll see extraction, click the area you want to extract to, so if you want alchemy type mats, you'd select the alchemy extraction, and right click the item in your inventory. This will take the item to the extraction box, and you click extract!
The item will correspond to the extract skill you wish to use (one for each type of raw material available). To increase the skill level of extraction, you need to buy scrolls and other higher-level Items, from level one to thirteen. So you buy first level 1 then level 2 and so forth.
The cost increases with each level.
Using extraction will give you refined materials depending on what process you use and what tier level the item you used for extraction.
If you fail an extraction you will lose the item used.
